In this song, Ezra Koenig talks about the breakup of his relationship with Hannah Hunt. The song takes us on a physical journey from the northeast coast of the United States to the southwest coast but also on a metaphorical journey from the time when the characters shared a feeling of love that seemed capable of withstand any obstacle to the moment when they grew appart and their relationship seems headed towards its end.

In my illustration, the fork in the road represents the decision these characters will have to make regarding their relationship. The packaging design also represents this feeling of rupture between two lovers.
